Well now let us take a trip down memory lane. Let me tell you I had a whole dance routine to this song and sorry to tell you my video recorder is not working or I would show you. This duo ROCKED, and then fizzled out to who knows where.
After 15 years they are getting back together...at 40 years old hum that should be a fun concert.

I am their Master

We went to see that new movie KUNG FU PANDA...so cute. And so now the kids know that when I say I'm the MASTER they do the sign. Just watch I'll have them trained in 24 hrs...or so. Yes, I am a control freak, and no I have no control over anything.

Well we won't will be bowling for dollars anytime soon, so we will stick to the food and fun.
We had a blast as you can see.

So, the TV thing...had to lay down some rules.

1. My bedroom is NOT the family room




2. Cheeta Girls 2 will not stay recorded on MY DVR




3. MY Bed is NOT the couch




4. MY TV is NOT to be turned on by anyone but me and maybe your father ( i actually caught one of them lounging on my bed flipping through the channels while I cleaned their crappy bathroom..Wrong)




5. You are invited in only the week that I am not PMS-ING

Other than the few tweaks, I LOVE IT...Renee, I say go for it girl we are old enough or should I say the kids are old enough. Lets enjoy life while its here!

Humble Parent Day

I want to share something that happened today that really made me think. A best friend of mine from High School passed away last evening. She was 36 years old and died one day after giving birth to her third child. Last August she delivered full-term twins that were stillborn, and has two girls at home. As I muttle through the why's and how's I look at my children and awe that I get to touch them, kiss them, be a mommy to them, wink at them,play games with them,watch movies with them, give them ice cream and candy, wash their hands and faces at night, and kiss them on the forhead knowing I will sbe with them when they wake up. My dear friend is not here anymore for those little souls. A newborn will never know the soft touch of her mother's hand. So if you do one thing today, please remember

to be a Humble Parent.

HD/DVR for Mama

Ok so I got selffish and purchased a HD/DVR from Direct TV for my bedroom. I haven't had a tv in m bedroom in over 6 years...I am breaking down for many reasons and please if I am making the wrong decision let me know.

1. I said no before because I wanted my room to be a sancutary...ha we take care of business in the closet.
2. I want to watch my shows with out others deleting my shows for History channel, Disney channel, Noggin, Food Network, ESPN, Nickeloden, hum....can ya think of anymore
3. I love laying in my bed with the door shut
4. Our bonus room is "tornado alley"
5. My hubby might watch a girly flick with me
6. I can fold clothes and watch tv at the same time...talented wouldn't ya say

So, we shall see. I thought that it was a nice b-day present to myself...oh and I am giving him a 9.99 DVD for daddy's day....isn't I nice.

NO Computer Time!

I love technology, but can't stand when it is broken. I hate.....strong word.....when I spend hours trying to fix the wireless system and get no where. So I walked away. Didn't want to fight with 4kids over computer time

My very busy life ...here we go.....

BTW......Thanks for all the wonderful gifts! I can't wait until they come in the mail. Just am so anxious to see what color the car is, and the vacation where am I going. I will spend my cash at body shop and maybe a facial. thanks gals this will be the best b-day ever.
