4th of July or Battle of Spring Hill?

Yeah we made the trip to the big Spring Hill Fireworks Display, being from a big city like Philly didn't expect much. Last 4 years we were on the beach watching the fireworks all around us:(
This year we went to "Battle of Spring Hill " hill to get eaten alive by TN BUGS. Got the kids settled and off the works went....
B and I turned then turned around and HOLY CRAP you could see a display that is bigger than anything imaginable. It was so amazing...we couldn't believe that it was legal to shoot off fireworks like that just anywhere, the whole horizon was on lit up, so much better that we decided to watch that instead...sad huh

Driving home my B just had to reenact "the Battle", so the windows went down and out the rifle went. Yes he is watches too much History Channel crap. Just today he said that he a had a dream he was drilling a bullet to deactivate it, I guess it is better than dreaming of "girly girls". Every time a bang went of he would shoot...until I got my cannon out and shot him dead. It was a wonderful reenactment of the battle I must say.

I think it is about time the mayor put a lid on the open fireworks here...just a little scary don't ya think?

You and B are goof balls!! That is why we love you. Our street was a mess of fireworks and the neighbors didn't quit until well after midnight. I thought the 8 minutes of the City show that we saw were pretty good. I am ready for SH to be done with the fireworks in the city limits too...

This town is so freakin Scary with all of the open home fireworks! I have already voiced my opinion to the mayor. Can we just say that I am known in the city not just for my teaching!
